Electra Jailbreak

Coolstar has introduced the Electra jailbreak tool, designed to work with iOS versions from 11 to 11.4.1. The Electra tool enables the installation of the Cydia package manager upon completion of the jailbreak process.

Coolstar's latest creation is Chimera, a replacement for Electra, designed for jailbreaking iOS versions 12 through 12.2 and 12.4. The Chimera Tool uses Sileo as its default third-party app manager.

Electra Jailbreak is compatible with the following iOS versions:

1. iOS 11 to iOS 11.0.3
2. iOS 11.1 to iOS 11.1.2
3. iOS 11.2 to iOS 11.2.6
4. iOS 11.3 to iOS 11.3.1
5. iOS 11.4 to iOS 11.4.1

It also supports tvOS versions from 11.0 to 11.4.1.

The following iOS devices are supported by Electra Jailbreak:

1. iPhone models: X, 8, 8 Plus, 7, 7 Plus, 6s, 6s Plus, 6, 6 Plus, SE, 5s
2. iPad models: 12.9-inch iPad Pro (1st and 2nd generations), 10.5-inch iPad Pro, 9.7-inch iPad Pro, iPad Air (1 and 2), iPad (5th generation), iPad mini (2, 3, and 4)
3. iPod touch 6G
And it works with the following tvOS models:
1. Apple TV4K (5th-generation)
2. Apple TV 4 (4th-generation)

Downloading Electra Jailbreak is possible via:

Online method (No PC required), where there's:

1. No need for a Windows or Mac computer
2. No need to download Cydia Impactor
3. No need to enter Apple ID details
4. Safe from Cydia Impactor error messages

IPA method (PC required), which:

1. Requires a Windows or Mac machine
2. Requires the installation of Cydia Impactor
3. Requires Apple ID details
4. Might be complicated for a new user
5. May involve fixing Cydia Impactor errors during the process (if they occur)

As Electra is a semi-untethered jailbreak tool, re-jailbreaking is necessary after each reboot and respring. Simply go to the Home Screen, open the Electra jailbreak tool, and tap the Jailbreak button to re-jailbreak the device.

The iOS restore method

This lets you remove the Electra jailbreak tool from your device and allows for reinstallation of the Electra tool at any time.

The Semi Restore tweak

Open Cydia, search for SemiRestore11/Rollectra, install it, open the app and tap Unjailbreak. Upon reboot, Electra will be removed from your device.

Users with Electra Jailbreak can also install Sileo by adding an extra source to the Cydia source list. To install Sileo for the Electra Jailbreak tool, tap the following source from your Cydia Source list: Electra's iOS utility source → packaging → Sileo → Install.

Sileo is the package manager for Chimera jailbreak tool on iPhone/ iPad / iPod Touch and Apple TV tvOS devices, developed by CoolStar, Alessandro Chiarlitti, and Kabir Oberai. It supports all iOS devices except the Apple Watch.

From version 1.4.2 beta 1, the Sileo team added a dark mode feature to the Electra and Chimera jailbreak tools. To access the dark mode feature, update your Sileo to version 1.4.2 beta 1.

Non-jailbroken iOS devices can install a demo version of Sileo, which allows users to view the Sileo package and changes, but it doesn't support the installation of jailbreak tweaks.
