Odyssey Jailbreak

For iOS 13 - iOS 13.7
Odyssey Jailbreak

For liberating your iOS device (A9-A13) operating on iOS 13 to iOS 13.7, consider the Odyssey Jailbreak. This open-source jailbreaking tool enables you to tailor your iPhone or iPad in ways that exceed Apple's standard restrictions. To get started with Odyssey, download the Odyssey IPA and employ the IPA installer of your choice for a straightforward installation process.

What is Odyssey Jailbreak?

Odyssey is an influential semi-untethered jailbreaking tool specifically crafted for iOS 13. It was launched as an open-source project to honor s0uthwes, the maintainer of TSSChecker and futurerestore. Odyssey simplifies the installation of Sileo, enabling easy downloading of apps and tweaks for iOS. It further employs the libhooker library as an Injection Library to enrich the jailbreak process.

Given its semi-untethered nature, the jailbreak is erased with every restart of your iPhone or iPad. To re-jailbreak your device, you need to use the app again. If Odyssey Jailbreak fails to open, reinstallation is required.

Odyssey Jailbreak exploits one of three methods to jailbreak iOS 13. Depending on your device and the version of iOS 13 it's running, it utilizes the tardy0n exploit [13.0 – 13.5], FTSB exploit [13.0 – 13.7 on A9-A13], or cicuta_virosa exploit [13.0 – 13.7] to jailbreak your iPhone. The most stable one is the last exploit, but it doesn't support the newest devices.

Additionally, Odyssey Jailbreak includes a built-in CoreTrust Bypass and Codesign Bypass, allowing any binary to be loaded regardless of signatures or certificates in the CMS blob. This feature facilitates the installation and running of unsigned apps sideloaded via IPA files. The installed apps will work without revokes only in a jailbroken state on iOS 13.

By default, an SSH package is also installed with the jailbreak, letting you connect to your iDevice using a terminal and SSH client. This enables package and tweak management from a computer. The app includes several settings like enabling tweaks, changing themes, disabling iOS updates, setting nonce, and restoring RootFS.

Odyssey Jailbreak comes with a built-in “Set nonce generator”, useful for iOS downgrades and upgrades. With this, you can manually set nonce for your jailbroken device, allowing you to restore no longer signed IPSW system files with tools like futurerestore.

Odyssey 1.4.2, the latest jailbreak for iOS 13 – iOS 13.7, is developed by the same team responsible for the Cheyote jailbreak for iOS 15, the Taurine Jailbreak for iOS 14 – iOS 14.3, the Chimera jailbreak for iOS 12, and the Electra jailbreak for iOS 11.

Although it's one of the most stable jailbreaks for iOS 13, alternatives such as unc0ver or checkra1n jailbreak exist if Odyssey does not work for you. Odyssey Jailbreak operates on iOS 13.7 down to iOS 13.
As an open-source project licensed under the 3-Clause BSD License, Odyssey Jailbreak's files can be accessed through the GitHub Repository. Building the Swift-based semi-untethered jailbreak on macOS using Xcode is straightforward. The source code for version 1.4.2 of the Odyssey app has also been released, comprising 46% Swift and 44% C, and is licensed under the BSD 4-Clause License.
